To Elin-Alexandra Sundstrom for her successful efforts to develop an alternative cultural venue where the audience in a relaxed way meet culture and history. Her momentum as an entrepreneur and cultural organizer in Kulturgården in Old Church Town has created an important stage in the various cultural genres like music, theater, poetry and art space for both young and established artists. As an artist and musician, she has resolutely shown that you can achieve your goals and also help others to find their audience.

Culture Prize SKUM 2009
Elin-Alexandra was awarded the 2009 Norrbotten Academy (NOAK) SKUM prize as the cultural personality with reason: Elin-Alexandra Sundstrom portrays the female perspective in an expressive way in her painting and image creation. She is also part of a Arty Fun Fun. Another expression she share is through the music, she is a member of the music group Vikta Fåglar.
Elin-Alexandra’s commitment to cultural life in Norrbotten is also in Kulturgården in Gammelstad that she runs. A place for people to meet through a cafe, art workshops, sales and exhibition opportunities.
